Collections teams work from an ageing report: who is overdue, sorted by amount. It says nothing about who will pay this week without a call, who is drifting into a bad-debt pattern, or what the cash position will really look like at month-end.
JDE CashPilot™ predicts rather than reports. From invoices, payment history and behaviour it forecasts when each customer will pay, scores payment risk, and tells the team where a call or a hold will make a difference, and where it will not.
What JDE CashPilot™ does
Forecasts expected payment dates per customer and per invoice from past behaviour
Scores payment and credit risk and flags customers whose pattern is deteriorating
Produces a short-term cash forecast that updates as receipts and orders come in
Prioritises the collections work list by expected cash impact, not just days overdue
Drafts reminder and dunning communications for the team to send
How JDE CashPilot™ works
The same governed loop as every Agent on JDE AgentOS™ (monitor, analyse, recommend, execute), applied to this Agent's job. Nothing reaches JD Edwards without a person approving it.
Monitor
Follows accounts receivable, receipts, credit limits and open sales orders.
Analyse
Models each customer's payment behaviour and the resulting cash forecast.
Recommend
Ranks the collections actions and credit decisions by cash impact and risk.
Execute
Sends approved reminders and records collection notes; credit holds need a person's approval.
What Data It Touches
- Reads: customer ledger, receipts, credit limits, open orders, dunning history
- Writes: forecasts, work lists, collection notes and approved customer communications
- Never touches: journal entries, cash application or bank data without approval
Security: Where the Data Stays and Who Can Access It
A governance layer routes every action through human approval workflows, and the action layer only executes JD Edwards transactions that have been approved. The connector layer is AIS, Orchestrator, REST APIs and the database.
