The Problem It Solves

Who works with it

  • Every employee
  • HR and IT service desks
  • Managers who approve requests

An employee's day is spread across the ERP, HR, ticketing, email and chat, each with its own login, its own forms and its own way of asking. Simple things (a leave balance, the status of a purchase request, resetting an access) take a chain of apps or a message to a colleague.

Employee Agent sits where people already are (Teams, Slack or email), connects to the systems behind them, understands the request in plain language, and carries it out or routes it for approval, with the same governance as every other Agent on the platform.

What Employee Agent does

  • Answers questions from the systems of record (ERP, HR, ticketing, document libraries) in plain language

  • Raises and tracks requests: leave, access, purchases, support tickets, approvals

  • Routes actions that need sign-off to the right approver and reports back

  • Works inside Teams, Slack and email, so nobody has to open another app

  • Respects each system's permissions: people only see and do what they already may

How Employee Agent works

Four steps, from input to outcome.

  1. Connect

Links to the workplace systems through their APIs, under each user's own permissions.

  2. Listen

Takes requests in plain language from Teams, Slack or email.

  3. Understand

Works out what is being asked and which system holds the answer or the action.

  4. Act

Answers directly or performs the action, with approval where the policy requires it.

Works with

  • Cross-platform

What Data It Touches

  • Reads: what the requesting user is already allowed to see in each connected system
  • Writes: requests, tickets and approved actions in those systems, attributed to the user
  • Never touches: data the user could not access themselves

Security: Where the Data Stays and Who Can Access It

A governance layer routes every action through human approval workflows, and the action layer only executes JD Edwards transactions that have been approved. The connector layer is AIS, Orchestrator, REST APIs and the database.
